Do test to make H4CI clean gas nitrogen treatment on 60Cr13Mo martensitic high carbon stainless steel piston ring, test the product’s metallography and hardness, also do installation test, the result display that because of the function of NH4CI activating and en-infiltrating, per 520℃x8h nitride, nitride layer can get 0.20mm, the most hardness can get to 1200HV, and above 800HV, the deep of valid nitride layer is more than 0.12mm,that can make the piston ring to get the use requirement, and using time is similar to the plated chrome ring, The treatment technique is can instead of the traditional polluting plated chrome technique.

Martensitic stainless steel also have the feature same as general alloyed steel to use quenching to get the hardness, so we can get larger range and different mechanical property by choosing trade-mark and heat treatment condition. Martensitic stainless steel, distinguished from large classification, belongs to iron-chrome-carbon system stainless steel. Under quenching and tempering condition, increasing chrome content can add to ferrite content, therefore reduce hardness and tensile strength

The feature of ferrite style stainless steel’s chemical composition is containing 11%-13% Cr, adding niobiun and titanium in it , its hot temperature strength is the lowest in all kind of stainless steel, but it has the strongest resistance to thermal fatigue.

    It can be used widely in kinds of industry, example, medical devices, valve, standard parts, tableware, measuring tools, appliance, knife and scissors etc.

Chemical composition

Size and shape: wire rod diameter range ￠5.5~￠16.10mm,.acceptable deviation ±0.25mm,roundness50%diameter tolerance, according to actual weight to deliver, the general weight is 500~2000kg per each wire rod. Special requirement, will be indicated in the contract.

Smelting method: EFA smelting and refining outside the furnace or other adaptable smelting method.

Delivery status: two way indicated in the contract—1. annealing2. annealing and pickling

Packing: fine package---adding a weaving bag based on the simple package
